Palestinians mourn top Islamic Jihad commander Baha Abu al-Ata during his funeral in the Shujaiya quarter. Gaza's health ministry issued a confirmation that three had been killed during Israeli attacks in the Strip earlier in the day including Abu al-Ata, 42, his wife Asma, 39, and Muhammad Atiyah, 20, and that 18 people were injured. Shortly after the attack, dozens of rockets were launched into Israeli cities.
