Building seen continuing in the illegal Israeli settlement of Beitar Illit, built on expropriated Palestinian land of the Wadi Fukin village, near Bethlehem, West Bank. Last week, Israel announced the biggest land grab in the West Bank since the 1980's, saying it plans to confiscate 3800 dunams of land in the south western villages of Bethlehem. Before 1948, Wadi Fukin lands were estimated in about 12000 dunams. By 1993, it narrowed to 3000 dunams after the Israeli confiscations to expand nearby settlements.
