Two Palestinians stop to look at Israel’s destruction of Beit Hanun in the northern Gaza Strip. According to the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, Israel’s assault on the Gaza Strip destroyed or severely damaged 16,800 homes, leaving 370,000 displaced; 1,965 Palestinians have been killed, including 1,417 civilians, of whom 458 were children and 238 were women. Sixty-seven Israelis were killed: 64 soldiers, 2 civilians, and 1 migrant worker.
