A rocket is launched by Palestinian militants into Israel. Tensions are high in Gaza after Israel’s targeted assassination of Islamic Jihad leader Baha Abu al-Ata which led to intense cross border fire between the territories. Abu al-Ata, 42, was killed together his wife Asma, 39, and Muhammad Atiyah, 20, and 18 people were injured. Shortly after the attack, dozens of rockets were launched into Israeli cities.
