A peaceful protest march in support of Palestinians in front of the Peace Palace, organized by Plant een Olijfbloon (Plant an Olive Tree) and Students for Palestine–The Hague during the Justice For Jenin march. On 3 July 2023, the Israeli armed forces launched a violent invasion of Jenin and Jenin Camp as a collective punishment for growing Palestinian resistance. The camp was invaded by more than 1,000 Israeli soldiers and attacked with drones, rockets, and armed military vehicles. Twelve Palestinians were killed (four of them aged 18 or younger) and dozens more were injured. Israel said it was targeting militants. The camp infrastructure was destroyed, forcing the residents of Jenin to rebuild yet again. Three thousand Palestinians were forced to flee the refugee camp.
