Palestinians march toward the fence during the demonstration marking the one-year anniversary of the Great March of Return protests, near the Israeli-built barrier that surrounds Gaza, east of Gaza City. According to the Gaza Ministry of Health, 4 Palestinians were killed, including 2 teenagers, and more than 300 were wounded by Israeli forces that day. The weekly Friday demonstrations started on 30 March 2018 (Land Day), calling for the right of return of Palestinian refugees and an end to the Israeli siege of the Gaza Strip.
