It describes the developments that shaped the Nakba: the destruction of over 400 Palestinian villages and the expulsion by Zionist forces (later forming the Israeli army) of about 750,000 Palestinians into neighboring countries, leading to the new state of Israel controlling about 77% of historic Palestine.
