Extraordinary Arab Summit in Mecca

The summit is called by Saudi Arabia King Salman bin Abdulaziz to condemn the strikes launched from Yemen on two oil pumping stations in the kingdom, the attacks on oil tankers off the coast of the United Arab Emirates , and Iran ’s role in the region. On the Palestine question, the Arab leaders simply reiterate their support for the resolutions of the 29th Arab Summit, Dhahran (the 2018 Jerusalem Summit) and those of the 30th Arab Summit in Tunis (2019). The extraordinary meeting takes place at the same time as the 14th Islamic Summit .
